"The Registry protocol was approved by the Massey Cancer Center Protocol Review and Monitoring System Committee at the VCU. Institutional Review Board approval was obtained by each participating institution and the study registered with the National Institutes of Health (www.clinicaltrials.gov, No NCT00699101). As previously mentioned, this report focuses only on the dosimetric experience of multi-lumen use in the first 194 patients treated with complete data submitted and available for review. A similar study looking at the same endpoints in the first 144 patients has been previously reported []."
