"Conflict of Interest and revision of the guidelines The guidelines were supported only by the Japan Surgical Infection Society. The members of the Committee for Gastroenterological Surgical Site Infection Guidelines declared this conflict of interest to the society. Members who had a conflict with the CQs did not participate in casting their vote on the recommendation for the CQs. The guidelines will be revised in approximately 5 years."
