"A randomized, controlled, open-label, multicenter, superiority trial was performed. Participants were recruited at 5 regional and 1 university hospital in Sweden. The study was designed as a pragmatic trial rather than an explanatory trial, assessed using PRECIS-2. Ethical permission was obtained from the Regional Ethics Board in Gothenburg (2014-10-30, DNR:597-14). The study protocol has been published and is also available at www.ssorg.net.
