"As such, this led to a questionnaire with a total of 65 items. Data from ventilator software (ResScan® vers 6.0, ResMed; EncoreBasic® vers 2.12, Philips Respironics; and DirectView® vers 2.4, Philips Respironics) covering the 56 days of confinement (i.e., leaks, tidal volume, apnea-hypopnea index [AHI], compliance, and daily use) were retrieved either through our telemonitoring platform or during home visits and compared to the 56 days preceding the confinement period. Questionnaires were sent by post to the patients' homes with a reminder after 1 month and then after 6 weeks. The study protocol was accepted by our local ethics committee (2020-01509) and registered at clinicaltrials.gov (NCT04477473)."
