"This study examined data collected from participants who were involved in a previously reported clinical trial []. Participants have been described in detail previously. In brief, eligible participants had newly diagnosed PSG-defined at least mild OSA (as defined as an apnea hypopnea index [AHI] > 5). Exclusion criteria included any previous or current use of CPAP and non-fluency in both written and spoken English. The Sydney South West Area Health Service Human Research Ethics Committee approved the protocol and all participants provided written informed consent. The study was registered with the Australia and New Zealand clinical trials registry (ANZCTR12606000065594)."
