"The study was conducted at the Department of Gastroenterology. It was designed as a randomized–controlled trial performed in a parallel manner. The primary end point of this study was the post-polypectomy AE rate, and the secondary end points included LOS and hospitalization costs. All the participants received 3-day, 7-day, and 14-day follow-ups to evaluate post-operative AE. The study was conducted in accordance with the ethical guidelines of the Declaration of Helsinki and the protocol was approved by the Institutional Review Board of Southern Medical University.
