"This prospective observational study was performed in cooperation between the Departments of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine of the Klinikum Osnabrück GmbH and of the University Medical Center of Rostock between April and November 2020. Ethical approval was provided by the ethical board of the medical faculty of the University of Rostock on April 3, 2020 (A2020‐0072) and confirmed by the ethics committee of the chamber of physicians of Lower Saxony on April 6, 2020. The study has been performed according to the Declaration of Helsinki.
