"Kuopio Fall Prevention Study (KFPS) is a randomized controlled study conducted in cooperation with the municipality of Kuopio, with a population of ~120,000 inhabitants in eastern Finland. All the participants living in Kuopio urban area, born between 1932 and 1945, were invited through mass mailings using their home addresses. Institutional long-term care addresses were excluded.
