The participants were fully informed before providing their consent for participation in this research. Study period was from March 2021 to October 2021. In total, 60 morbidly obese (BMI >40 kg/m−2) patients scheduled for bariatric surgery were included in the study after receiving written consent. Patients with predicted difficult laryngoscopy were excluded from the study: limited mouth opening <3 cm, Mallampati grade >3, neck circumference >50 cm, and thyromental distance <6 cm."
