"We performed an exhaustive literature search in the publicly available medical databases of PubMed using the medical subject headings (MeSH) “KMT2B”, “dystonia” and “disorder” to identify appropriate studies published through January 31, 2023. The studies were subjected to title and abstract screening, after which studies pertaining to the Asian population were included. Data extraction was performed, including demographic parameters, clinical phenotype and variant details. All identified studies published after the largest systematic review by Cif et al. [] in 2020 were assessed separately to provide completeness. Studies that were not in English, lacked patient details, focused solely on pathology, were molecular studies or were review articles were not considered. The systematic review was registered under PROSPERO (CRD42023399935)."
