Eligible studies were randomised controlled trials (RCTs) conducted in high-income countries which recruited community-dwelling adults that either explicitly targeted older adults or where the mean participant age was ≥65 years. Community-dwelling was defined as living independently at home (including in extra-care housing but excluding care/nursing home residents) regardless of the need for care assistance."
