"Declarations Ethics approval and consent to participateInformed consent was obtained from all participants and study procedures were approved by institutional review boards of the University of Maryland Baltimore (HP-00093307), University of Abuja Teaching Hospital (UATH/HREC/PR/2020/005/10), and the Federal Capital Territory Abuja (FHREC/2020/01/37/04–05-20). The consent form was translated into a local language predominantly spoken in the study area to ensure comprehension by individuals with low literacy. A study staff fluent in the native language administered the validated translation of the consent form and consenting participants appended their thumbprints on the form in the presence of a witness in line with Nigerian National Health Research Ethics Committee recommendation.
