Assessment of satisfaction with antiretroviral drugs and the need for long-acting injectable medicines among people living with HIV in Japan and its associated factors: a prospective multicenter cross-sectional observational study.

We obtained approved by the institutional review board of Gifu University Hospital (ethical approval with Number 2021-027), and of all the other study sites. In addition, permission from facilities was acquired to use anonymized data. The purpose and significance of the study were explained to the participants, while written informed consent was obtained from the participants who could consent. The parents gave consent for those under 18 years while they gave their assent to participate. Furthermore, the confidentiality of the collected data was ensured by the use of code numbers rather than personal identification and the locking of the checklist.
