"This is a randomized, multicenter, single-blind clinical study with follow-up period. The study was approved by the Research Ethics Committee of the University of Murcia, Murci, Spain (ID: 2428/2019). The research project was registered with the International Registry of Clinical Trials (www.clinicaltrials.gov; ID: NCT05108480. First registration: 05/11/2021). Patients who met the selection criteria were informed verbally and in writing about the objectives, risks and benefits of the intervention. All patients signed an informed consent document, in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki. The patients were recruited from eight cities of Spain (A Coruña, Bilbao, Burgos, Granada, Madrid, Murcia, Valladolid, Vigo) between the months of February and July 2022."
