"Funding The Pelotas 2004 Birth Cohort study is conducted by the Postgraduate Program in Epidemiology at Universidade Federal de Pelotas, with the collaboration of the Brazilian Public Health Association (ABRASCO). We have received support from many agencies. Among the international agencies are the Wellcome Trust and L’Oreal/United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization/Brazilian Academy of Science, Ministry of Health. Among the national agencies, the Brazilian National Research Council (CNPq), Brazilian Ministry of Health and Children’s Pastorate supported previous phases of the study.
