"In this study, we followed up this cohort from April to July 2017, and a total of 2780 participants were followed up this time. As shown in Figure , participants with no blood or urine samples (n = 530), missing baPWV and CIMT values (n = 44), eGFR <60 mL/min/1.73 m2 (n = 12) or UACR ≥30 mg/g (n = 249), and CVD or stroke (n = 3) were excluded, leaving 1942 participants for the final analyses. Written informed consent was obtained from all participants. All work was conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki.
