"The ADVANCE-LAAO trial (Angioplasty Guidewire-Assisted vs. Conventional Transseptal Puncture for Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion) followed a multicentre, prospective, randomized controlled design. Patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation who underwent LAAO at four hospitals in China were consecutively enrolled.
