Further, this study was conducted according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analysis (PRISMA) statement []. However, due to the very limited availability of studies and the complexity of the topic, a scoping review was evaluated as a more appropriate first step to summarize existing research findings, to identify research gaps, and to derive recommendations for future studies in the field [, ].
