"The Newborn Critical Care Center (NCCC) of UNC Children’s Hospital, where the primary study was conducted, is a regional Level IV, 58-bed facility averaging 800 admissions annually. UNC Children’s serves children from all 100 counties in the state of North Carolina, which has more than 1 million Latinx/Hispanic residents according to 2020 census data. The primary feasibility study of the therapist-led and parent-centered educational program, TEMPO, as well as the study activities for translation of education materials, were approved by the Institutional Review Board of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The study was pre-registered at ClinicalTrials.gov under the identifier: NCT04121897 in October 2019."
