"The systematic review and meta-analysis were conducted following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) guidelines []. A PRISMA checklist is available in . Our comprehensive search covered Web of Science, Scopus, PubMed, and other relevant sources, such as Google Scholar, spanning from the inception of each database to July 2023. To ensure that no pertinent studies were overlooked, we manually examined the reference lists of identified articles and utilized the "Related Articles" feature in PubMed to identify additional relevant papers.
