"This review was registered in PROSPERO (registration number CRD42022352290). We followed the standard PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) guidelines for the conduct of this review []. The electronic search aimed at identifying studies published from database inception until 31st December 2022. We used three databases i.e., PubMed®, Web of Science, and EMBASE® to perform a literature search. There were no date or language restrictions. The search strategy used for the three databases has been presented in Additional Table . The reference lists of the selected articles were searched manually to identify additional relevant articles.
