"Declarations Ethical approval5-week-old female BALB/c nude mice were purchased from Vital River Laboratory Animal Technology Co. (Beijing, China). The animals were bred in specific-pathogen-free conditions with a 12-h light–dark cycle. The experiments were approved by the ethics committee of the School of Basic Medical Sciences, Shandong University and were performed in guidance with animal experiments in the Laboratory Animal Center of Shandong University. 40 human breast cancer tissues along with their adjacent noncancerous tissues were obtained from the tumor tissue bank from the Shandong Provincial Hospital (Shandong, China). Informed consent was obtained from the patients for this study and the study was approved by the ethics committee of the School of Basic Medical Sciences, Shandong University.
